Hello! I’m Cassie Isackson, owner and event planner at Cassie Renae Events. I started my business near the end of 2011 and enjoy every minute I spend event planning or working with a bride and groom on their wedding day. I graduated from WSU in 2005 with a B.A. in Apparel Merchandising, but I don’t feel like I knew what I wanted to do with my life at that point.
For as long as I can remember, I have been a planner and an organizer. It didn’t matter if it was a small gathering or a large event, I always enjoyed my time spent planning. It wasn’t until I planned my own wedding in 2009/2010, that I realized the passion I had for the wedding and event planning industry. When my wedding was over, I wasn’t ready to be done planning. It was then that I felt like I had figured out what I wanted to do for the rest of my life!
With the encouragement of my family, friends and my amazing husband, Cassie Renae Events, LLC. was started. I spent the first summer offering my services for free. I got to dabble in a couple weddings and a fundraiser. All great experiences. After my first wedding as the Day of Coordinator I knew that I had found my place. I also currently volunteer for a great organization, Encompass NW, and work on their planning committee for their Fall Gala and Spring Gala.
